Dads group has lost the court case, meaning Dad doesn't get his pension for another 3 years or so. The judge didn't have anything nice to say about Telus, but they were within the laws. So now we don't have that money to fall back on.
I'm stressed about school. Things are going too fast, I'm not getting assignments done, I'm way behind in the reading. I'm just stressing out.
Then there's work. Fuck. Somepeople are stupid. There's a shortage in hours at work, so they can't give out other shifts. Which sucks because everywhere is short staffed. I came in on Saturday to do shrinkwrapping, and I forgot I was closing copy, but that's ok. I can deal with that. I asked Hardeep whether or not I could listen to my music, or did she think I would need to listen for pages. She said she thought I should listen in case they needed someone to cover breaks. That translates to "Allison, you're covering everyone's breaks". I got a whole 15 mins of shrinkwrapping done. I was so stressed out, I was shrinkwrapping, covering service breaks, covering lane breaks, covering copy breaks, and taking my own breaks. My blood sugar was somewhere about my boots, I was on the verge of tears all day. And it was a full 8 hour day, and Kels and I were the only ones home, and I worked the opening shift the next day. Another long, tiring, stressful day. Bah…
In good news, today I recieved two birthday cards. One from Auntie Anne and Uncle John in England, including a $50 bill, and the other card was from the Edwards in Burnaby, including a $20 check.
Woo! Money for school!
