I don’t know what it is with customers lately, but I keep finding them on ladders at work. I was walking along the back of the store cause I had to check something on the computer in the furniture pad, and I see a customer moving a short ladder, and I just figured it was in his way, then he decides to climb it… Without putting the stop down… and the ladder started tipping towards him. He uprighted it before it fell on him, and I hurried over and asked if he needed help with something, and he showed me the chair he wanted to get. Since there is never someone in furniture at night, and therefore no one immediately around, he decided to get the chair himself. Now we keep chairs on the very top shelf, and use a stock picker to get those down. He decided to try and use a short ladder, stand on the very top of the rails, and try to pull the chair down. So I go and get the stock picker, put it in place, put the harness on, went up and got the chair down. Then once I’m down, he starts telling me how my harness isn’t legal because it doesn’t have a shock on it if I fall (the orange strap does, but it wouldn’t have given me the distance I needed). I should have said “Sir, it’s far safer than what you were about to try.”

So today I woke up late, went to school, studied for my midterm thursday, caught a little sleep before my next class, but popped the lens on my glasses. Went to French class, failed the quiz cause I missed a class and couldn’t ask anyone what happened because that class wont let me on WebCT. Then I decided to walk from OC KLO Campus to Staples to get Jonathan to drive me to Costco to get my glasses fixed. Problem, I was wearing heeled boots and had my 30lbs bag. So I got only part of the way, I now have blisters on my feet and a messed up left foot, and the only reason I can’t feel them right now is because I’ve taken three times the recommended dose of Ibuprophen. I had two random people try to convert me to / get me to become a Wiccan. Jonathan had a really bad day, so we didn’t talk the entire way beyond me giving him directions where to drive. We’re both planning on quitting cause the conditions there are just bad. I was talking to Nikki, and I realized absolutely nothing possitive has happened in the past three weeks. Absolutely nothing, no matter how small.

So I just got a computer from Staples. Desktop, 250GB hard drive, 1GB ram, and other numbers I don’t understand, as is, $200. It just needed a restore before it left the store. I bought this Sunday. My coworker Mark said he’d restore it for me so I could take it home that night. Then it had a boot manager problem. When I worked on Monday, I asked our technician, Bill, if my computer was finished. He didn’t even know I had a computer in (it had been left on his desk). Then we find out that I don’t have an operating system… but I have the Microsoft Vista Home Premium sticker on the tower. So Wednesday I find out if Bill will be able to do anything.

I’m going in Wednesday to bug Bill cause he forgets frequently. When my laptop (Henry) went in for servicing, he didn’t tell me it was back for a few days and that was when I was in shopping and he happened to see me.

k, last fall my Mom went in for her yearly mammogram and they found something. She went in for two partial mastectomies to discover what type of breast cancer Mom had. Thursday before Christmas, we received the news that she had ductal carcinoma, which if you have to have breast cancer, this one is the best to have. Because they caught it so early she didn’t need chemo, only radiation. And with that, she’s lucky that she didn’t have a rib fracture (which sometimes happens with radiation treatment). She was told she had a 90% survival rate in the next 20 years.

She just went in for a follow up mammogram, and there’s no more cancer! Omg, I’m so happy to hear this news ^_^. No more radiation, no more surgery.

I just had a really shitty day. First, I slept in by an hour, then I was running late, then I coudln’t find a free computer in the library to print off an assignment that was due yesterday, then a bottle of pepsi exploded on my arms and pants, then my computer was -RETARDEDLY- slow (as in 20 years ago computer slow), then I ran back to the library after class and finally got a computer, but then the printer was drooling toner onto my paper, then I realized we messed up on the project, then I didn’t have a staple to put everything together, then for the lab my partner and I got lost, then when we got to the third stop (bottom of bridge hill) I waited 10 mins in bridge traffic to get there, then the prof decided to just go home but didn’t have anyone’s number to let us know, and my partner was supposed to get a ride back with the prof but he didn’t even go to the third spot, so I had to drive into town and go to the school, then wait through half an hour of bridge traffic to get back to the Westside, then I went to Tyler’s place cause he wanted to buy paper off me but he wasn’t home yet so I went shopping and couldn’t find the damned jello or hashbrowns and had to ask where both of those were, then go back to Tyler’s and then drive home.

That was a run on sentence of epic proportions.

K, so Friday I hung out with Chris Harvey. We went for Timmy’s, watched a little Stargate SG-1 at his place, then went and saw Die Hard 4 with his family. I -LOVED- the movie! I wanted to go get another ticket so I could see it again. Then I drove by Marc’s to see if he was home cause I didn’t want to go to bed yet. His car wasn’t there, so I drove to Timmy’s, but I didn’t recognise any of the cars. So I was driving home when my cell rings. It’s Mark Staaf, he tells me to look left. There were Marc and Mark. We turned around and went to Timmy’s for a bit.

Saturday was Dawn’s party which was a lot of fun. Dinner was pizza, the cake was awesome, and one of the guys brought their Wii, so we played Wario Ware and Mario Party 8. It was all really fun. Unfortunately I was feeling sick so I left early.

Then Sunday morning at 4, I was hugging the toilet, got sick once, then went back to bed. I’m so glad I don’t work today. Today I’m just gonna chill for most of it.

So Grandma was in the hospital because she fell in the garden while I was at work. She’s chipped a bit off her ankle bone and the docs say it’ll be a nice, easy, clean heal. When I called, she had just got her neon green cast on and she told me they gave her three pills and that she was flying. My Grandma was as high as a kite, lol.
